Ray Chen

Artist Statement

My work focuses on human relationships. The whole series of Mother and Child has represented love and generosity. I value form and space as I do the relationship betweenthe internal and the external - one cannot exit without the other.

Eastern and Western cultural influences have also shaped this vision. My work is my language of communication.

My Sculpture exploration of form, space and line has become my outer language to embody my inner feelings about this experience.
